DB Troubleshoot and fixing connection Errors

We have a website running on AWS servers with our Database in PostgreSQL. The database is hosted on EC2 instances. However, we have been experiencing persistent connection problems, and our database keeps getting disconnected. Therefore, we are in need of an AWS and PostgreSQL expert to diagnose the problem and provide a solution.Also we need full documentations of what is causing the problem and how to avoid it in the future.
