I’m preparing to license a new database that will run on SQL Server for my small consulting firm, which manages compliance programs for municipal water systems in California. I need someone who can take ownership of the entire technical journey—beginning with cost-conscious hardware (or cloud) specifications and ending with a stable, well-documented environment that can accommodate up to six concurrent users.
From you I expect full setup and configuration, carried out remotely. That means sizing and pricing the server, installing and hardening SQL Server, loading the database, configuring user permissions, and putting automated backups in place. Once we’re live, I want both regular scheduled maintenance (monthly health checks, patching, performance tuning) and responsive on-demand support whenever issues or upgrades arise.
Key deliverables
• Detailed equipment or cloud spec sheet with itemized costs
• End-to-end remote installation and secure configuration of SQL Server and the licensed database
• User and admin documentation, including backup/restore procedures
