"Redcap Database Merge & Variable Adjustment"
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
Currently, I'm working on the merging of two research databases, one of which is Redcap, into a single database and require some assistance to make it seamless. This project entails a number of steps which include;
- Figuring out the other database system: At the moment, I'm not exactly certain which the other database is, so you will be responsible for helping to identify it.
- Adapting variable names and values: The aim is to harmonize the Redcap variables, both names and values, to match that of the previous database.
- Comprehending the Naming Standards: The variables in the former database were named in relation to their specific functions. It will be key to understand this naming convention in order to properly align both databases.
The ideal freelancer for this project should have a strong understanding of database management systems, with specific expertise on Redcap. Knowledge and experience, in merging databases and modifying database variables, are essential requirements. Lastly, an ability to quickly comprehend and adapt to existing variable naming conventions will be beneficial to the assignment.
