Production Database Support & Optimization
Budget: $20 – $30 SGD
As a growing organization, we deal with a large inflow of data on a day to day basis. Our current production database frequently presents us with two major challenges - slow query performance and our frontend timing out.
To address these issues, we are seeking a database specialist who can:
- Analyze the root cause of the slow query performance and suggest comprehensive solutions for optimized query execution.
- Implement measures to prevent frontend timing out. This may involve revisiting our database architecture or restructuring the data.
In addition, we also need assistance with some Db administrative work:
- Backup and Recovery Mechanisms: Set up, manage, and oversee procedures for backup, recovery, and disaster management of the database.
- Database Health Check: Regularly monitor, diagnose, and improve the health and performance of our database system.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in database administration (especially backups and recovery).
- Proficiency in database tuning and query optimization.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
