Convert MDF/LDF to BAK
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
I have a fully-functional SQL Server database that currently sits as separate MDF and LDF files.
My only goal is to turn this live set into a single, clean .BAK file that I can archive safely for future use.
You can remote in or guide me through the process—whatever gets the job done quickly and without data loss. I’m not entirely sure which exact SQL Server build we’re on, so please be prepared to confirm the version first and choose the right commands or GUI path accordingly (BACKUP DATABASE, SQL Server Management Studio, sqlcmd, etc.).
Deliverables
• Verified .BAK file created from my MDF/LDF pair
• Brief note or screen-grabbed steps so I can reproduce the backup next time
That’s all there is to it—speed, accuracy, and clear instructions are what I need.
