Authoritative PDNS & PDNS-Admin Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have a fresh Linux server waiting for a clean PowerDNS deployment. I need the authoritative version of PDNS installed and paired with PDNS-Admin so I can manage zones through a web interface right away—no migration work, just a solid new build.
You will receive root access to the box. Once connected, please:
• Install PowerDNS in authoritative mode only.
• Set up PDNS-Admin, secure it with HTTPS, and make sure it can talk to the PDNS backend.
• Create a sample zone so I can verify lookups from outside the server.
• Harden the install with sensible defaults (firewall rules, non-root service user, etc.).
• Hand over a brief set of commands or a short document describing how to add future zones and records.
If you prefer MariaDB for the backend.
The job is complete when I can log in to PDNS-Admin, add a zone, and resolve a test record from the public internet.
