GCP Data Engineer for Large Dataset Transformation
Budget: ₹150,000 – ₹250,000 INR
I require a data engineer skilled in Google Cloud Platform(GCP), LookML and Big Query. You will be tasked with the following:
- Database design and modeling: Efficiently create database models that will serve the purpose of my project.
- Dataset transformation: Transform a large (more than 10GB) production dataset containing transaction data into a tabular/flat schema.
The right person for this job will have a proven track record in handling large datasets, and performance optimization. Proficiency in LookML and Big Query is crucial as these tools will be used extensively. Real-world experience in GCP and dataset modeling is desirable.
We are in the process of migrating data warehouse from SQL Server on SNL Banker to GCP. We have multiple tasks in which the main task is to flatten the star schema from SNL Banker to a structure better suited for LookML.
There are many tables and views which have schema as per old data warehouse. We need someone who can help us change the whole data warehouse structure and schema which is well suited for GCP and LookML
