Data Analyst - Teradata on Contract for 6 months

We are looking for a Data Analyst with 5-7 years of experience on contract (full-time) for 6 months. The selected candidate would have to work remotely with the team in India during India office hours 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (5 days a week).

Required Skill sets:
Teradata Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of DW and RDMS concepts
• Should have strong in Design concepts
• Strong Knowledge of TERADATA architecture
• Proficient in Data Warehousing, ETL (Inbound/Outbound)
• Experience in writing stored procedure

Strong SQL skills
• Primary Index, Secondary Index, Value Ordered Secondary Index, Join Index
• Partition
• Join
• Working with - Transaction, Global Temporary Tables, Work Table
• Data loading strategy - Semantic
• Incremental
• Complete
• History Load
• Exception Handling

Utilities
• Good working knowledge in utilities like BTEQ, FAST EXPORT, FAST LOAD and MULTI-LOAD, TPT

Strong knowledge in TD performance tuning
• Stat Collection
• Understanding the explain plan and query tuning
