Workflow Inefficiency Comparison Charts
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have an existing workflow that I will outline for you once we start, along with a redesigned version I’ve drafted. What I need now are clear, professional diagrams that make the contrast unmistakable.
First, create a current-state chart that flags three specific pain points: how long each step takes, where errors most often occur, and where people or tools sit idle. Then build a future-state chart that shows the re-engineered flow and makes the gains—faster turnaround, fewer mistakes, tighter resource use—easy to spot at a glance. Consistency of symbols, colours and labelling between the two versions is essential so readers can track the differences instantly.
Deliverables
• Current-state workflow diagram highlighting duration, error-prone steps, and resource drain
• Future-state workflow diagram emphasising reduced time, reduced errors and better utilisation
• Side-by-side or overlay comparison graphic to illustrate improvements (optional but appreciated)
• Editable source file (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, Figma, or similar) plus PDF/PNG exports ready for presentation
Acceptance criteria: standard BPMN or flowchart symbols, legible at both slide and print size, colour coding consistent, pain points and improvements visually distinct without crowding the diagram.
I will provide the step-by-step details and any internal terminology as soon as we agree to proceed, and I’ll review early drafts quickly so revisions stay minimal.
