Survey Data Visualization

I need help to create clear and informative graph in Excel to visualize survey results for an academic publication (something like a horizontal bar graph). The focus should be on displaying response frequency (%) to a 7-point Likert scale. Ideally I would like the display to be horizontal with results visualised around the midpoint equivalent to the 4th value on the Likert scale. This way the % of responses corresponding to Likert scale 1 (strongly disagree), 2 (disagree) & 3 (somewhat disagree) will fall to the left of the mid point and 5 (somewhat agree) ,6 (agree) & 7 (strongly agree) to the right of the midpoint and responses to Likert scale 4 (neither agree or disagree) bridging the midpoint. I was thinking of displaying each response % as a separate "block" representative of the % (e.g. responses with 1% may just have a small thin line, where as responses with 75% may have a wider block to represent the greater %) I have a series of questions and I was hoping to display all questions in one a single graph/page with questions and their corresponding graph running vertically down the page. Some questions have been used with 2 different groups of respondents so in those cases I would like to display the one question once but have both sets of data visible next to the questions (stacked on top of one and another with a slight gap in between). there are 3 other data points I would like to display for each question and group of respondents (the total sample size, the median response and the Inter Quartile Range.
