I’ve designed a lightweight Excel workbook that lets freelancers stay on top of their daily inflows and operational expenses without touching a single macro. Enter income or out-go as it happens and the sheet automatically rolls everything up into a clear month-end summary. An interactive dashboard then visualises cash-in versus cash-out, highlights your highest cost categories, and shows real-time net position.
Because every freelancer labels costs differently, the category list is entirely open—you can rename “Rent”, “Subscriptions”, “Advertising”, or add new lines on the fly and the formulas will adapt. The file is kept trim, so it opens quickly even on modest laptops and is easy to tweak if you ever need extra columns, colours, or branding.
