Scientific Lithology Depth Profile Graphic
Budget: $30 – $100 USD
I’ll supply two PDFs: the current figure and a reference image that sets the exact scientific-report style I need you to follow—fonts, line weights, colour palette, legend format, everything.
Your task is to plot the core’s lithology as a depth profile, then blend that new column seamlessly into the existing figure so it looks as though it has always been there. Each depth interval must display rock type, layer thickness and any recorded fossil content exactly as shown in the reference example. Accuracy of depth scaling is critical; the vertical scale on the reference must be mirrored so correlations remain precise.
Please return:
• the updated figure in high-resolution PDF for publication, and
• an editable file (Illustrator, Inkscape SVG or layered PSD—whichever you work in) so minor future tweaks are straightforward.
I’ll provide the raw depth log in spreadsheet form along with the PDFs as soon as we start. Let me know if you need clarification on symbology before you begin; I’m keen to approve a quick style mock-up before you finalise the full column.
