Python Load Cell Video Tutorial
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am putting together an educational module that shows students how to interface a 100 kg load cell, capture its readings, and visualise the data in real time using Python. What I need from you is a complete, self-contained video guide that walks through every practical step: wiring the load cell (ideally with an HX711 or similar amplifier), installing any required libraries, writing clean Python code to read and calibrate the sensor, and finally plotting or logging the measurements so learners can see immediate results.
Please film the session as a clear screen-and-hardware recording with voice-over explanations. By the end of the video, a beginner should be able to replicate the setup, run the Python script without errors, and understand how to apply calibration factors to achieve accurate weight readings up to 100 kg.
Alongside the video, include:
• The full, well-commented Python script (ready to run on Windows, macOS, or Raspberry Pi).
• A concise wiring diagram or photo showing exact connections.
• A short text file summarising any external libraries or drivers needed and the commands to install them.
I am open to your preferred filming style and software tools as long as the final result is easy to follow and the code works out of the box.
