PyWake Windfarm Simulation Suite

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m looking for a freelancer with experience in Python, PyWake, and wind energy modeling to help me build a set of simulation scripts and a written technical report. The simulations will analyze a real existing wind farm using data from Global Wind Atlas or Sea Impact.
You will use PyWake (https://topfarm.pages.windenergy.dtu.dk/PyWake/) and optionally the included PyWake Workspace to run several analyses and generate meaningful visual outputs.

1. Wind Farm Layout Plot
2. Wake Visualization
3. AEP (Annual Energy Production) Simulation
4. Wind Direction Analysis
5. Wake Loss Comparison


Technical Report Requirements:
A well-structured report (PDF or Word, 9-12 pages) explaining:
The wind farm used and its data sources
All simulation methods
Code explanations
Plots + tables
Interpretation of AEP, wake losses, and directional results
Conclusions about farm performance
The level should be professional, suitable for academic or engineering documentation.

What I Will Provide:
Coordinates or dataset for the selected wind farm
Access to the PyWake workspace if needed
Data for Input
Meeting sessions to explain what is needed
