PowerPoint Scientific Illustration Specialist
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m running several ongoing projects in the natural sciences and frequently need production-ready figures produced directly in PowerPoint. The most important part of the role is taking my raw data, sketches, or rough slide drafts and turning them into crisp, accurate scientific illustrations that match journal and conference guidelines.
A bachelor’s degree (CS, IT, or any natural-science discipline) is essential so you can follow the terminology and spot content errors before they reach reviewers. Beyond strong PowerPoint skills, an eye for colour harmony, typography, and layout consistency will set your work apart. While the core deliverable is scientific illustrations, the ability to tighten captions, improve slide grammar, and occasionally redesign charts or flow-diagrams is a welcome bonus.
Typical workflow
— I share a brief with sketches, data tables, or an existing slide.
— You rebuild the figure inside PowerPoint, apply accurate labels and legends, and return both an editable PPTX and a high-resolution export (PNG or SVG).
— We iterate once if needed, then I sign off and release the milestone.
Turnaround is generally a few hours to a couple of days per request, and all communication will be through Freelancer chat for clarity and version control.
If you love converting complex natural-science ideas into visuals that reviewers actually understand, please send a few sample PPTX figures you’ve created. I look forward to collaborating on clear, compelling science.
