I need a specialist to design a highly robust, executive-grade analytics layer across Power BI and Smartsheet. The goal is to turn operational data into clear, actionable visuals with automated refresh and reliable governance.
Scope:
Build interactive Power BI dashboards (KPIs, trends, drilldowns, alerts) with strong performance on large datasets.
Integrate Smartsheet (reports, sheets, control center) as a governed data source/workflow hub.
Design a clean data model (star schema, DAX measures) and row-level security.
Create reusable templates, documentation, and a simple handover playbook.
Key Requirements
Proven portfolio of advanced Power BI dashboards (DAX, Power Query, performance tuning).
Hands-on Smartsheet expertise (Data Shuttle/DataMesh, Reports, Control Center, permissions).
Experience with data architecture, gateway/refresh, and RLS.
Strong UX for executives and operations; mobile-friendly layouts.
Nice to Have:
Python/R for advanced transformations.
Power Automate for alerts/workflows.
Azure (Synapse, Data Lake) or SQL for scalable back end.
