Need a college level smallscale lightweight project : AI/WebGIS Prototype for Forest Rights Act (budget 5000-6000 inr)

Job ID: 39777053

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I need a minimum working prototype (MVP) for a college hackathon project, not a full-scale product. The goal is to have a demo-ready system within 7 days to showcase how AI + WebGIS can support the Forest Rights Act (FRA) implementation.

This is a hackathon-level demo — lightweight, fast to build, and only needs to work at a small scale.

Problem Statement Title

Development of AI-powered FRA Atlas and WebGIS-based Decision Support System (DSS) for Integrated Monitoring of FRA Implementation
(Focus States: Madhya Pradesh, Tripura, Odisha, Telangana)

MVP Scope

Digitized FRA Data (Basic)

Small example dataset (CSV/Excel) converted into a simple database.

Show how claims/records can be visualized in an Atlas view.

Basic Asset Mapping

Use dummy/sample satellite data.

Highlight simple land categories (e.g., water body, forest patch, farmland).

No deep AI required – simple mock/dummy classification is enough.

WebGIS MVP

Interactive map with layers (state/district/village + FRA claims).

Add basic filters (state/district/village).

DSS (Simple Rule-Based)

Show recommendations for FRA holders (using if/else rules or dropdown).

No need for complex AI logic.

Deliverables

A basic working prototype (web/app) that can be demoed in 7 days.

Clear demo flow showing FRA claims, GIS layers, and DSS connection.

Short notes/slides explaining how this MVP could be scaled in the future.

Ideal Partner

Experience in hackathon-style MVP building.

Familiarity with WebGIS tools (Leaflet, Mapbox, OpenLayers, etc.).

Able to deliver a functional, demo-ready prototype quickly.

Budget

₹5000 – ₹6000 for MVP prototype (internal college round only).

If selected for the next stage, the budget will be expanded.
