# Statement of Work
## Humminbird AutoChart PRO Consultant Services
### Patoka Lake and Lake Monroe Custom Mapping Program
## 1. Project Overview
The Client seeks to engage a niche Humminbird / AutoChart PRO consultant under a custom services arrangement to support ongoing lake mapping and periodic delivery of Humminbird-native ZeroLine/AutoChart map packages for use on Humminbird APEX units.
The initial engagement will begin with a small pilot project to validate workflow, technical capability, deliverable quality, and compatibility with the Client’s Humminbird ecosystem before expanding into a recurring mapping support arrangement.
The target lakes for this engagement are:
- Patoka Lake
- Lake Monroe
## 2. Project Objective
The objective is to establish a repeatable, hands-off workflow in which:
1. The consultant advises the Client on the exact data collection process, including:
- optimal Humminbird APEX / AutoChart Live settings
- recommended raw sonar logging procedures
- preferred file formats and collection standards
- pass spacing, run structure, and data quality requirements
2. The Client continuously collects field data, including:
- Humminbird raw sonar logs
- AutoChart Live / ZeroLine data
- supporting notes or metadata as needed
3. The Client uploads data files to a shared cloud location on an ongoing basis.
4. The consultant periodically:
- imports the data
- interprets and processes the data in AutoChart PRO PC
- builds and refines lake maps
- maintains separate lake projects for Patoka and Monroe
5. The consultant delivers finished outputs in the Humminbird-native lane, including a ZeroLine-ready package compatible with Humminbird APEX.
## 3. Scope of Services
The consultant shall provide the following services.
### Phase 1: Pilot Project
The pilot project shall be used to verify that the consultant can successfully perform the complete workflow from Client data intake to final Humminbird-native map delivery.
Pilot services shall include:
- review of the Client’s current electronics and mapping workflow
- consultation on best-practice data collection standards
- review of sample field data from one selected lake and one selected area
- import and processing of:
- Humminbird raw sonar logs
- AutoChart Live / ZeroLine data, where applicable
- creation of a pilot map package including, as feasible from the provided data:
- bathymetric contours
- bottom hardness
- vegetation
- side-scan mosaic
- 3D exports, screenshots, or views
- delivery of a Humminbird-compatible ZeroLine-ready output for APEX use
- written summary of:
- what was processed
- what was successfully delivered
- any data gaps
- any recommended changes to the Client’s collection process
### Phase 2: Ongoing Managed Mapping Support
If the pilot is successful, the consultant shall provide recurring services that may include:
- periodic intake of newly uploaded mapping data
- maintenance of separate lake projects for:
- Patoka Lake
- Lake Monroe
- periodic map refreshes and revisions
- updated ZeroLine-ready output packages
- periodic interpretation summaries and mapping notes
- ongoing recommendations to improve data collection quality and efficiency
## 4. Required Deliverables
The consultant must confirm in writing that they can deliver, from the Client’s Humminbird-generated data, the following outputs where supported by the collected dataset:
### Required Humminbird-Native Deliverables
- a Humminbird-compatible ZeroLine card package for use on Humminbird APEX
- built from the Client’s raw Humminbird sonar logs
- and, where applicable, also using AutoChart Live / ZeroLine data
### Required Mapping Outputs
- bathymetric contours
- bottom hardness
- vegetation
- side-scan mosaic
- 3D exports / screenshots / views
### Required Project Management Deliverables
- separate maintained projects for:
- Patoka Lake
- Lake Monroe
- clear versioning and delivery labeling
- a summary of what was processed in each update cycle
- identification of data limitations or quality concerns
## 5. Technical Requirements to Confirm in Writing
The consultant must confirm in writing all of the following:
1. They can process Humminbird raw sonar logs in AutoChart PRO PC.
2. They can work from both:
- raw sonar logs
- AutoChart Live / ZeroLine data
3. They can deliver a finished Humminbird-native package that loads onto a ZeroLine card and displays on Humminbird APEX.
4. They can generate, where the underlying data supports it:
- contours
- bottom hardness
- vegetation
- side-scan mosaic
- 3D exports/screens/views
5. They will clearly state what portion of the output is:
- truly native Humminbird / ZeroLine-ready output
- versus separate images, exports, screenshots, GIS products, or interpretive deliverables
6. They have prior experience with Humminbird / AutoChart PRO workflows.
7. They can maintain separate lake projects for:
- Patoka Lake
- Lake Monroe
8. They can support an ongoing workflow where the Client uploads data periodically and the consultant refreshes the map package on a recurring basis.
## 6. Client Responsibilities
The Client will:
- collect field data using Humminbird APEX, AutoChart Live, and sonar logging workflows
- upload data files to a shared cloud storage location
- provide lake identity, date, area, and any field notes needed for organization
- provide or receive ZeroLine card media as needed for final use
- review pilot and recurring deliverables and provide feedback
## 7. Consultant Responsibilities
The consultant will:
- define the preferred field data collection standards
- review uploaded data for completeness and usability
- process data using AutoChart PRO PC and related Humminbird-compatible workflows
- maintain clean separation between Patoka and Monroe project files
- produce deliverables in the agreed format
- communicate data-quality issues, gaps, or constraints promptly
- preserve project organization and revision history
## 8. Pilot Success Criteria
The pilot will be considered successful if the consultant demonstrates all of the following:
- successful ingestion of provided Humminbird mapping data
- successful processing into usable mapping outputs
- delivery of a Humminbird-compatible ZeroLine-ready package for APEX
- clear explanation of what was delivered natively versus separately
- evidence of real AutoChart PRO workflow competency
- a practical recommendation for how the Client should collect future data more effectively
## 9. Commercial / Administrative Items
To be proposed by vendor:
- pilot project fee
- ongoing service fee structure
- turnaround times
- revision policy
- data transfer method
- confidentiality / non-disclosure terms
- ownership of processed data and final deliverables
## 10. Vendor Response Requested
Interested consultants should respond with:
- a summary of relevant Humminbird / AutoChart PRO experience
- confirmation of each technical requirement listed above
- proposed pilot scope and price
- expected turnaround time
- sample deliverables, if available
- any recommended adjustments to the proposed workflow
