Football Bar Chart Race Reels
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m building a series of slick, HD bar-chart race videos that bring football data to life for Instagram Reels and similar short-form platforms. Think Flourish-style motion graphics—but with extra polish, club colours, and match-day energy.
Here’s the scope in plain terms. For every assignment I’ll give you a theme—“most goals in the last 50 years”, “record transfer fees”, “historic league table shake-ups” and so on. You’ll dig up the raw numbers yourself, verify them from reputable sources, and then craft a vertical, 1080×1920 animation that grabs attention in the first two seconds and holds it to the last frame. The visual language should stay unmistakably football-themed: pitch-inspired palettes, club crests, bold type, subtle crowd-noise stings if you like—whatever makes the stats feel like match highlights.
Core data stories I plan to cover include:
• Player statistics
• Team rankings
• Historic match outcomes
• Transfer history and market values
Use any workflow you prefer (Flourish, After Effects, Blender, custom code in D3, etc.) as long as the exported reel is crisp and brand-ready. Animations must be smooth at 60 fps, text legible on mobile, and supplied in both .mp4 and an editable project file so I can request tweaks later.
When you reply, attach or link to a recent bar-chart race—or something close—that shows your motion, typography, and data-handling skills. Then walk me through a short proposal: where you source reliable football data, how long each reel takes you from brief to final render, and any ideas you have for elevating the format beyond the usual Flourish output.
I’m keen to start with a pilot clip immediately and, if we click, roll into a steady stream of weekly reels. Looking forward to seeing how you’d turn raw stats into scroll-stopping football stories.
