Excel-Based Virtual CFO Dashboards & Reports

Project Title: Excel Dashboard + Audit Report Visualisation for Virtual CFO Deliverables

Description:
I am looking for a freelancer to convert our audit / financial reports into polished, interactive Excel dashboards which we will use as deliverables in our Virtual CFO / Audit services.

What we’ll provide:

Raw data (financial statements, audit findings, KPIs, etc.) in Excel / CSV format.

A sample of past reports / dashboards (if available), to show our style / branding.

What we need you to do:

Clean and organise the data, possibly use Power Query / data transformation if needed.

Design dashboards that include (but are not limited to):
  • Key financial metrics (Revenue, Expense, Profit margin, cash flow)
  • Audit‐specific metrics (audit findings summary, compliance status, due items)
  • Trend analyses (YoY or MoM)
  • Visual elements (charts, graphs, KPIs, traffic light indicators, conditional formatting, slicers)
  • Risk heat maps or similar audit‐risk visualisations (if relevant)

Ensure the dashboards are user‐friendly: easy to update with new month data, consistent formatting, use of templates.

Provide documentation or instructions so a non‐technical user can update the dashboard ( replace data, refresh charts etc.).

Skills required:

Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, possibly Power Pivot)

Dashboard design / visualization

Audit / Accounting / Financial Reporting background is a plus

Attention to detail & good design sense

If possible, experience with macros / automation (for repeated tasks)

Deliverables:

Final Excel dashboard file(s), template(s)

A mock / example using your data

Documentation/instructions for updating the dashboard
