Edutech Game Developer for AI-Powered Visual Tutor (Web/App)

Job ID: 40314453

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

We are building an AI-powered personal visual tutor focused on math and data concepts, and we’re looking for a developer/team to take our current prototype and turn it into a visually stunning, game-like learning experience.

The core goals:

Make lessons and tutoring sessions visually engaging (think 3Blue1Brown-style clarity, not generic dashboards).

Make lessons truly interactive (students can manipulate graphs, sliders, parameters, etc. in real time).

Personalize lessons for each student using AI (interests, examples, difficulty, pacing).

Important style note:
We do NOT want cheesy, kid-ish edutech UI or “AI slop.” We’re aiming for something modern and polished, closer to:

You will start from an existing prototype (video available) that shows our current direction and interaction ideas. Your job is to help redesign and rebuild the experience so it feels like “3Blue1Brown meets a game,” while staying technically solid and scalable.

What you’ll work on:

Implementing an engaging visual layout for lessons and tutoring sessions (web or web-based app).

Building interactive components (graphs, sliders, visualizations) that respond smoothly to user input.

Integrating with AI APIs (we can handle or co-own the prompt/logic side) to generate or orchestrate personalized lesson flows.

Collaborating on UX decisions so the whole experience feels cohesive and delightful.

Nice-to-have experience:

Frontend: React, Next.js, or similar modern JS framework.

Data visualization: D3.js, Three.js, Canvas/WebGL, or similar.

Edutech, serious games, or interactive learning tools.

Working with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) for dynamic content generation.

Important constraints:

This is NOT a blockchain or crypto project, so no Web3 stack is required.

We care a lot about visual quality and interaction design, not just bare functionality.

When you apply, please include:

A short note on how you’d approach turning a static “lesson page” into an interactive, game-like experience.

2–3 links (GitHub, live demos, or videos) of your MOST relevant work with:

interactive data/graph visualizations, OR

educational/learning apps, OR

game-like web interfaces.

Your suggested hourly rate (must be within 2–8 USD/hr) and estimated hours per week you can commit over the next 4–8 weeks.

Whether you are an individual or part of a small team.

Budget & engagement:

Type: Hourly (2–8 USD/hr, depending on experience and portfolio).

Engagement: Start with a smaller, well-defined milestone (e.g., 1–2 key lesson screens and interactions), then expand if it’s a good fit.

Start: As soon as we find the right match.

If you love the idea of making learning feel like a beautifully designed, interactive game—not a boring LMS—this should be a great fit.
