Dynamic Excel Project Dashboard
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have four active projects today and expect that number to grow steadily to roughly eighteen over the next three-to-five years. To keep everything on track I want a single Excel workbook that lets me:
• enter or import any project, along with its shifting mix of milestones, tasks or phases
• update dates, budgets, resources and status fields without breaking formulas
• see a live, interactive dashboard that shows overall portfolio health as well as drill-downs for an individual project
Flexibility is critical. New activities will be added mid-plan, and the column structure should not fall apart if a project gains an extra task next month or loses one later. Ideally the build will rely on tables, dynamic named ranges, slicers, pivot charts or Power Pivot so future growth stays painless.
Deliverables
• An unlocked Excel template with all data-entry sheets, automated calculations and a multi-page dashboard
• Clear, in-file guidance (or a brief PDF) that explains where to type, how to refresh, and how to add an entirely new project without touching a formula
• A short hand-over call or video walkthrough so I can maintain it myself
I consider the job finished when I can open the file, add “Project 18,” create three new tasks under it and watch the charts update instantly—no manual edits, no broken links.
