Role

Documentary Graphics, Data Visualisation and Evidence-Mapping Designer

The designer will work alongside the documentary editor, story producer and AI filmmaker to turn a large, completed evidence archive into a clear visual system. This is not simply a motion-graphics role. The designer must help the audience understand what was known, what was said, what was decided, what actually happened and what the child experienced as a result.

The graphics should guide viewers towards the documentary’s central narrative: the family says it was portrayed as the problem while the records show repeated gaps between the child’s documented needs, the information held by different services, the promises made and the protection ultimately delivered. The visuals must make that pattern understandable without fabricating evidence, exaggerating certainty or replacing unresolved questions with conclusions.
