Data Cleaning, Structuring & Basic Visualization of Survey Data in Google Sheets

Project Context:
We’ve collected 160 responses via Google Forms (now in Google Sheets), with 17 questions covering demographics, activity habits, preferences, and open-ended comments for a multi-sports & wellness complex.

The raw data includes:
Multi-select fields (e.g., sports activities, club features)
Categorical variables (e.g., gender, age group, membership preferences)

Job Description:
I’m looking for a freelancer to help clean, format, and structure the data for analysis, and also produce basic summary visualizations by demographic groups (e.g., age, gender, occupation). I’ll take care of more advanced analysis myself.

Scope of Work:
Data Cleaning
- Fix inconsistent formatting (e.g., whitespace, spelling)
- Standardize responses in fields like gender, occupation, activity types
- Split and format multi-select responses appropriately

Data Structuring
- Deliver a clean, organized version of the dataset in Google Sheets
- Create helper columns if useful (e.g., total activities selected)

Basic Visualizations
Charts (bar or pie) showing distribution of key questions versus:

- Age groups
- Gender
- Occupation categories
- Time of day or activity preferences (if feasible)

Include visuals either in editable Google Sheets

Deliverables:
- Cleaned and structured Google Sheet
- Summary visuals (by age, gender, occupation, etc.)

Optional: brief notes on structure and assumptions

Ideal Candidate:
Experience with survey or customer feedback data
Proficient in Google Sheets (or Excel) for cleaning and basic charts
Clear communicator, detail-oriented
