Excel Dashboard for Cycle-on-Cycle, Current cycle vs Budget Variance with Plant, Brand & Driver-Level Phasing

Project Description:
We need an experienced Excel freelancer to design a dynamic dashboard that explains cycle-on-cycle changes and their impact on the Variance Capitalisation process.
The dashboard should visually show how each new cycle affects key drivers (volume, manufacturing Inflation and HMM), with clear visibility of full-year and quarterly phasing — both at Plant and Brand levels.

Key Deliverables:
1. Interactive Dashboard Components:
o Sliders / Slicers / Dropdowns for:
 Plant (e.g., Plant A, B, C...)
 Brand (e.g., Brand X, Y, Z...)
 Driver of Change (e.g., Volume, Price, Mix, Cost, FX, Others)
o Ability to toggle between Variance Cap impact, Full Year and Quarterly Phasing.
2. Cycle-on-Cycle Comparison View:
o Side-by-side comparison of Current Cycle vs Previous Cycle.
o Highlight key variances (absolute)
o Breakdown by driver and entity (plant/brand).
3. Visuals:
o Waterfall chart showing variance bridge (Cycle N to Cycle N+1).
o Quarterly trend charts for main KPIs.
o Summary variance tables with clear variance drivers.
4. Output Views:
o Management Summary tab (ready for presentation).
o Detailed driver view with Full year and Quarterly view (expandable).

• Advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Dynamic Ranges, Charts, optional VBA)
• Experience with FP&A / cost variance analysis
• Data visualization and storytelling in Excel
• Strong attention to design and usability
