Social Media Fertility Supplements Data Scraper -- 2

Project Description

I am conducting a self-funded postgraduate research project focused on how fertility supplements are promoted on Instagram and TikTok. I need a one-time setup of a simple, automated data scraping system that:

Collects 50 top-performing posts from each platform (Instagram + TikTok) using predefined hashtags related to fertility supplements over the past 6 months.

Extracts and organizes the following data fields:

Post link (URL)

Caption or description

Hashtags

View count / play count

Likes, shares, comments

Post date

Username / creator

Type of content (video, image, carousel)

Mentioned supplement name (if detectable)

Outputs structured data into Google Sheets or Excel, in a user-friendly format for non-technical users.

Includes 1 or 2 extra columns for manual scoring using:

JAMA Benchmark Criteria

Modified DISCERN Scale
(rubric templates will be provided)

Provides easy-to-follow documentation or video showing:

How to rerun or update the system manually

How to schedule monthly data collection (if possible)

Optional (nice to have): Suggest the best way to visualize monthly trends (charts, summaries) using Excel, GraphPad, or any easy-to-use tool.

Other Notes:
No ongoing support is required after setup.

The system must be as simple and affordable as possible (student budget).

Apify is preferred, but open to suggestions like Phantombuster or other tools.

Open to fixed price or hourly rate. Please include time estimate and any tool limitations (API use, quotas, etc.)
