LogRocket Article & Author Data Analysis
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm seeking a talented professional with appropriate skills in web scraping and scripting for a unique project. The goal is to create a thorough database compiling all articles (I believe less than 10k) and authors from the LogRocket Blog. The objective is solely the aggregation of this data.
The scope of the project includes:
- Developing a database that captures all article and author data for https://blog.logrocket.com/
- Ensuring correct fields are identified and stored
The "database" can be a Google doc with the following fields:
1. Article title
2. Article URL
3. Date
4. Author
5. Author's website if available (available on author sub-page)
6. Author's Twitter handle if available (available on author sub-page)
7. Author's RSS feed if available (available on author sub-page)
7. Total numbers of articles written (available on author sub-page)
The primary type of analysis I'm interested in conducting is blog analysis. This will help me understand more about the most popular blog topics and categories, as well as SEO keywords used. Ultimately, the analysis will involve assessing:
- Traffic and engagement metrics
- Keywords and search engine optimization
- Popular topics and categories
An ideal candidate for this project would have:
- Previous experience in database creation and management
- Proven analytical skills particularly in decoding blog engagement analytics
- Knowledge of SEO and popular digital marketing practices
- A detail-oriented and well-organized working manner.
