Fix VBA Flightradar24 Scraper
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have an existing VBA macro that used to pull the flight history for a predefined list of aircraft. After recent changes on the site the macro no longer collects the flight details.
The overall structure is already built: the macro loops through tail numbers, runs the website and writes each field into a dedicated worksheet. All I need is for you to update the existing excel macro for changes to the website.
Feel free to modernise the code (cleaner error handling, clearer variable names, minor speed tweaks) as long as the original workflow and worksheet layout stay intact.
Deliverables
• An updated working macro that collects the history of flights for each aircraft listed.
• A quick README inside the workbook noting any new dependencies or settings
• Brief proof-run on at least three aircraft IDs showing the data correctly filled in the sheet
This should be a straightforward task for someone comfortable with using macros to scrape websites.
