A unet segmentation project where you have to use 2d image slices of surfaces and their corresponding masks for training the model for prediction. The metric to evaluate the accuracy of the model will be the dice score and meanIOU.
the dataset has a very high class imbalance as the images containing foreground information in the masks are less than 5% of the total.
