Recover Photos from LaCie Drive
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
My old LaCie external drive still mounts on my new Mac Studio (Apple silicon), but almost every JPEG stalls or throws an error when I try the usual drag-and-drop. I have not run any recovery utilities yet, so the disk is untouched beyond those failed copy attempts.
I need someone who can:
• Safely extract as many of the JPEG photographs as possible.
• Deliver them to my Mac Studio (or another modern drive I supply) organised exactly as they appear on the LaCie.
• Provide a brief note on what was recovered, what could not be saved, and which tools or processes you used.
You’ll be working with a drive that may be formatted HFS+, FAT32, or something even older, so familiarity with macOS-friendly recovery tools such as Disk Drill, PhotoRec, ddrescue, or equivalent is essential. If the filesystem is damaged, sector-level cloning and image-based recovery could be required.
I’m located in Georgetown, Texas; in-person service is welcome, though I can ship the drive if remote work makes more sense. Above all, I want the photos back safely with zero additional data loss. If this is in your wheelhouse, let’s talk timing and your recommended approach.
