Manual Passport Verification Specialist

I’m looking for an experienced ID-verification professional who can personally inspect passport images and confirm their authenticity. This is a fully manual process—no automated API calls or OCR batch jobs—so an eye for detail and up-to-date knowledge of international passport security features are essential.
What I need you to do
• Review each submitted passport scan or photo by hand.
• Check visual security elements (holograms, micro-text, MRZ consistency, photo integrity, etc.).
• Cross-reference any data points I specify before each batch is released.
• Flag discrepancies and produce a concise verification report for every document, clearly stating “Verified,” “Suspect,” or “Rejected,” along with brief notes.
• Maintain a secure workflow that keeps all personal information encrypted and limits file exposure.
Volume & cadence
Documents arrive in small batches several times a week. I’ll share them through a secure portal; you return the annotated reports within 24 hours of receipt.
Skills that matter
• Proven background in KYC/AML or border-control document checks
• Familiarity with ICAO Doc 9303 standards and common forgery techniques
• Ability to explain findings in plain English for non-technical stakeholders
• Strict adherence to GDPR and data-handling best practices
