Audit Compromised WiFi Security - 18/01/2026 21:15 EST

Job ID: 40159386

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

My home WiFi was breached while I was using it exclusively from my iPhone, and I logged in to sensitive services such as banking and email during that period. I need a thorough, methodical review to achieve two things:

1) Determine what, if anything, an intruder could have captured—traffic logs, account credentials, personal files, or device information—from my side of the connection.
2) Reinforce my overall security so this can’t happen again, covering both the router and the phone (I’m unfamiliar with any antivirus options for iOS).

I can supply router make-and-model details, current firmware version, and any logs the ISP has made available. I can also screen-share or export iPhone diagnostic data if that helps with packet or forensic analysis.

Please outline the steps and tools—packet capture, log analysis, router hardening, mobile forensics, or any other techniques—you plan to use, and let me know what specific evidence you will look for to confirm whether credentials or personal data were exposed.

Deliverables I expect:
• A concise incident report summarising findings, potential data accessed, and level of risk.
• A clean-up and hardening checklist applied to the router and iPhone with confirmation screenshots or commands executed.
• Clear next-step recommendations (e.g., password rotations, 2FA, additional monitoring apps).

Everything should be explained in plain language I can act on without advanced technical knowledge.
