A startup online tool needs data collection -- 2
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
We are doing a startup of a online shopping tool, which currently needs key info from product reviews from Chinese E-Commerce platform like Alibaba, JD and Amazon etc. The file formats of the product specifications are capable with MS Excel and Mac Numbers.
The steps are:
1. login/signup to TMAll, the Chinese shopping platform
2. find the top selling products for the related category
3. look through the recent reviews (probably 400-600) for each product
4. according to the key words, get the ratings out for each product
The products we want to do research on are top selling products and daily consumables, for example: top selling 30 masks for the covid 19 virus.
By “top selling products” I mean the most popular ones. We want to do a shopping tool like Consumer Reports. It would be great if you can check it out before getting into the actual work. They have an app for it as well. To be more detailed and specific, what we need are more like comparison charts, which provide clear ratings for the most important aspects of the products. We would like the file formats to fully function with both Numbers in Mac and Microsoft Office Excel. If it takes too much time to do that, functionality with Numbers in Mac will be the first priority.
We prefer that you inform us of the estimated time in advance, before getting into the actual work.
