inventory procurement sheet

As a business owner, I am in need of an inventory procurement sheet to keep track of all the items in my inventory. This inventory sheet will include steel items in different thickness width and length all in different sizes. I don't have a particular format or template in mind for this sheet but am open to suggestions. The inventory must be updated daily to ensure that there is accuracy in the data. I'm looking for someone with experience creating these types of documents to help me get started on this project.
