Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

My company is seeking an experienced machine learning specialist to develop a machine learning tool that will use historic data to:
1) Anomaly detection - identify abnormal behavior in solar PV systems and energy storage, enabling proactive troubleshooting, minimizing downtime, and improving customer support.
2) Predictive maintenance: Predict equipment failures and maintenance needs, allowing for proactive scheduling, reducing downtime, and enhancing the customer experience.
3) Energy optimization: Analyze energy usage patterns to optimize strategies like load balancing, demand response, and peak shaving, leading to cost reduction, improved system performance, and potential revenue generation through energy savings.
4) Personalized recommendations: Analyze customer usage patterns and preferences, generating tailored recommendations for energy optimization, cost reduction, and sustainable practices, enhancing the customer experience and fostering engagement.
5) Demand forecasting: Accurate energy demand forecasting based on historical data and external factors like weather conditions, enabling efficient energy planning, improved resource allocation, and positive impacts on revenue generation.
We are of the opinion that the above can be achieved through the application of a combination of regression and classification models.
The data to be used will be provided in a raw form (see attached sample data), and it will be up to the specialist to do all data preprocessing as needed to realize the desired results.
The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of machine learning models and techniques, as well as experience in successfully delivering projects like this in the past. We are looking for someone who can take this project from initial concept to deployment, so strong project management skills are also a must.
