ShOw Me ThE mOnEy !!
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
not in excel !!!
Everything is based off a start date and 10 numbers that include decimals, for example:
6-13-17 & 6.00, 7.25, 9.07, 13.15, 13.25, 14.16, 18.45, 22.54, 24.38, 27.32.
These numbers are the starting numbers for counting number of days from the start date as well as the numbers to figure their respective square roots and having the ability to add or subtract their square roots to and from the original number. These are to be generated using an 8 position calculator. There will need to be an identifying factor for each of the columns of numbers when square rooted so I can know from which columns things are matched up to. For example: 6.00 can be 1 or a symbol, 7.25 can 2 or a different symbol, and so on.
The counting of the days will continue on as long as possible.
The numbers and their square roots will occur within the numbers 000 to 999.
These are the things that will need to go on behind the scenes, I dont need to see any of equations like that.
What I want to do is enter a future date, and the option of up to 15 dates and whole numbers, up to 30 of them and I want the program to match up from the numbers generated from the square roots math and the numbers I enter for any of the dates included.
So it would go like this.
I want to know if 2 or more columns have the same numbers of that which I am entering as well as the number of days from the start date to the dates I have entered.
including 9-11-17 and up 9-25-17, thats 15 days.
so 9-11-17 is 90 days from start date
and then add one more day for of the 15 dates or however many I input for.
Then, I will insert from 5 to 30 different 3 digit random numbers, like 008, 036, 174, 208, 546, and so on.
So then I want to see which 2 or more columns have the number of days AND have the digits I entered in the query.
This is real simple and im probly confusing it all up. Im not good with the computer so the program has to be easy.
I do request, I really would like to see everything or as much as possible on the screen without having to scroll or move to the right so I can visually compute what im looking at. I dont care if its in 8 font size, i can ise a magnifying glass, I just want to be able to see it all.
Im sure you have questions, but this should give enough of an idea if you can handle it.
Please dont just jump on here and say Ill do it, think about what needs to be done, how YOU can do it and not use excel. Remember, im computer illiterate and oh, my laptop is an older model so nothing fancy where I need to go upgrade or download a bunch of stuff just to see what you did.
heres some examples of the square rooting I need done.
6.00 sq rt is 2.4494897 (remember I said and 8 position calculator!!)
so we subtract and add to each quotient 2.4494897.
6.00 + = 8, 10, 13, 15, 18 and so on up to where it ends closest to 999.
and we do the same with each number.
22.54 sq rt 4.7476309
22.54 += 27, 32, 36, 41 and so ….
the counting of days should be a breeze, i think they have existing programs for that.
Let me know what you think, just dont use the word excel.
Thanks.
