R Script for Exporting UTF-8 CSV into TXT files Based on column with an Unique ID and a column containing Text - 08/06/2024 14:54 EDT

Job ID: 38202066

Budget: $40 – $60 USD

I am in need of a skilled R developer who can create a cross-platform script that can work on both Windows and Apple machines, while efficiently processing an Excel file and exporting data based on certain conditions.

The main tasks of the project include the following tasks:

1) Takes a UTF-8 CSV dataframe, that can be specified by the user, and exports the text in each row as a separate UFT-8 TXT file. There is a unique ID in one column, and a longer body of text in another column (text column), and the output TXT file must begin with the unique ID and then have the body of text.

2) Send the output UTF-8 TXT files to a folder that can be specified by the user.

3) The task is not completed until I am able to run the R script, on my computer, on the example input UTF-8 CSV, and to get it to consistently produce the required output UTF-8 TXT files. In order to do this, you may need to explain to me how to run the script, and to troubleshoot problems that prevent it from working for me, until it works properly for me.

I will provide an example R script that partly performs this task, but that currently only works for Apple user. (You must make a script that works for both Windows and Apple users).

I will provide an example of an input UTF-8 CSV for testing purposes.

- Exporting the processed data into .txt files.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in R programming language.
- Experience in handling Excel files in R.
- Knowledge of cross-platform development.
- Ability to handle missing values effectively.
- Prior experience with creating data export scripts.

The final script will need to be delivered in a way that is easily implementable for both Windows and Apple users.

Thank you for your time.
