Remote Stenographer Needed for New York Deposition must be authorized to take oaths in New York
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am seeking a professional stenographer to remotely record a deposition for a New York court case. The expected duration of the deposition is between 2 to 4 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately transcribe the deposition
- Deliver the transcript in Electronic format (PDF/Word)
- Proofread the transcript for accuracy and formatting issues
- Time-stamp all entries for accurate referencing
- Provide a rough draft of the transcript immediately post-session
Ideally, the stenographer should be experienced in legal transcription and have the necessary equipment to ensure a high-quality recording. Familiarity with New York court procedures would be a plus. Please note that I am currently uncertain about the need for real-time reporting during the deposition, but this may change depending on the flow of the session.
The transcript should follow a standard legal format. Real-time reporting is required during the deposition.
