3 Pulley ATD Measurement System Poles using Mobile Camera & VR Integration -- 2

Job ID: 39733492

Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR

We are looking to develop an innovative mobile camera and VR-based solution to accurately measure 3 pulley ATD (Auto Tensioning Device) setups on poles.

The system should be capable of:

Capturing real-time video or images of the 3 pulley ATD configuration using a standard mobile phone camera.

Using image processing or computer vision to calculate key measurements like:

Pulley spacing

Tension rod angles

Alignment with pole markers

Integrating the measurements with a VR or AR interface for visualization, making it easier for field engineers to assess and verify installations.

Ensuring compatibility with standards for OHE (Overhead Equipment) measurements.

Scope of Work:

Design and development of the mobile camera-based measurement app (Android preferred).
Implement AI/ML or Computer Vision algorithms for object detection and measurement estimation.
Develop a VR/AR-based interface for immersive visualization (can use Unity, Unreal, or other platforms).
Provide a simple user interface (UI) for field use.
Include a basic reporting/export feature (CSV or PDF).
Deliver a proof-of-concept (POC) or working prototype with demo footage.

ACTM – Regulating Equipment (ATDs)

Monthly & Annual Checks require dimensional verification and condition assessment.
→ Our camera + CV pipeline directly outputs pulley spacing, diameters, rope reeving correctness, corrosion detection, etc.

ATD & Wire Rope Checks

Manual checks currently include wire rope lubrication, stainless-steel integrity, X-Y dimensions.
→ The system captures X-Y offsets, rope angle, corrosion masks, and reeving correctness, digitizing these checks.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in data measurement and analysis
- Experience with visual data representation tools
- Background in engineering or physics is a plus
