C# .NET WinForms Developer for High-Speed Serial Communication Optimization
Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced C# .NET (WinForms) developer with strong knowledge of serial communication (SerialPort) to help us optimize an existing program.

Our current system receives data through a serial port at very high speed (≤10 ms intervals). The program works, but under heavy loads the application freezes or stops processing and displaying data correctly in real time.

We need to identify and fix the bottlenecks (buffers, queues, threads, timers, etc.) to ensure the application can reliably handle massive amounts of incoming data without freezing.

Main Tasks:

Analyze the current data reception and processing flow.

Optimize the use of SerialPort and buffer/queue handling.

Implement best practices for concurrency (Tasks, Threads, CancellationTokens, etc.).

Ensure data is displayed in real time on the UI (DataGridView, WinForms) without performance issues.

Document changes and propose architectural improvements.

Requirements:

Proven experience with C# .NET (WinForms).

Deep knowledge of serial communication and high-frequency data processing.

Strong skills in multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.

Previous experience in similar projects (please provide examples or references).

Nice to Have:

Experience with CAN/OBD2/J1939 protocols (not mandatory but a plus).

Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
