Offline Sonoff BasicR2 Lighting Control Solution
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
As a Sonoff BasicR2 user, I'm seeking a solution to maintain my Ewelink automation scenes even during internet outages.
As of today, the Sonoff BasicR2 devices do not store in its memory the automation scenes previously created in the app Ewelink : they can only perform these scenes each time they receive them from a cloud based service (Ewelink).
Solution could involve :
- the creation of a firmware for the Sonoff BasicR2 devices that will allow each device to store in their memory the automation settings programmed with Ewelink
- an small piece of hardware/PCB/Arduino connected to the Sonoff basicR2 device that would store the automation scenes received by Wifi and give orders to the Sonoff devices when there is no internet.
- I dont want to create a server for this purpose.
The memory of automation scenes on the device must update when the automation scenes are modified on the Ewelink App.
Key Requirements:
- The product should function specifically with Sonoff BasicR2, maintaining current lighting settings and programs even in the absence of internet.
- No need for compatibility with other home automation systems such as Google Home or Amazon Alexa.
- Priority is given to the control of the lighting scenes.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Extensive knowledge of Sonoff Basic systems; such as ESP2866
- Proven expertise in developing firmware and offline solutions for smart devices.
- Solid background in lighting control systems.
- Familiarity with different lighting scenarios and automation.
