King & Queen VB Schedule
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
“King & Queen Of The Court” Volleyball Tournament
We need a computer/randomizer program that shuffles 30 players to play or sit out within 12 rounds.
We have 2 volleyball courts, 4 sides (Red & Green; Yellow & Blue).
We have 30 players. 6 teams of 5 players per team. 20 players would play in each round. 10 players would sit out each round. Each team will consist of 5 different players each round.
Each player would have a number and would play on the team and court color each round.
There would be a total of 12 rounds. Each player would play 8 and sit out 4 of the 12 rounds. Each player will play twice on each court color. No player will play more than 2 rounds in a row.
With 30 players, 1 player would play 8 games with 4 other players. So there would be sometime when 2 players would play together twice, but shouldn't be with the same players that played with them in the previous rounds.
Games would be to 21. Red team plays against Green team. Red team beats Green team 21 to 18. Each player on the Red team get 21 points. Each player on the Green team gets 18 points. Same with the Yellow and Blue teams.
Each player would have an accumulative total score. The male/female with the highest score after all 12 rounds were played, would be the King and Queen of the Court. For simplicity, I left out explaining the Championship games.
See attached score sheet for an example.
We are trying to have each player play with all other players.
This example is for 30 players (6 teams of 5 players per team). We would also like to have the program sort for 24 players (4 teams of 6 players per team) or (6 teams of 4 players per team) and 36 players (6 teams of 6 players per team).
Thank you for assistance in our dilemma.
