Job Description:
We're looking for an experienced developer who specializes in parsing large 1 JSON file and accurately mapping required fields. You'll be working with JSON data converted from XML responses. Your primary task will involve efficiently parsing this JSON, extracting specific information, and excluding unnecessary data. Additionally, you'll develop a script to parse and structure the data correctly and store it in our PostgreSQL database.
Key Responsibilities:
Parse and manage large JSON data structures originating from XML responses.
Identify, extract, and map necessary fields accurately.
Develop methods for filtering and excluding irrelevant data.
Write scripts to parse data and store it accurately in a PostgreSQL database.
Ensure high performance and efficiency in data processing tasks.
Collaborate closely with our team to understand specific field mapping requirements.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in JSON parsing and data extraction.
Strong understanding of XML to JSON conversions and potential parsing challenges.
Proficiency in languages such as JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or similar.
Ability to write efficient, scalable scripts or applications.
Experience with PostgreSQL and database integration.
Attention to detail with robust debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with recursive data parsing and mapping techniques.
Familiarity with data categorization and filtering logic.
Prior experience with complex data transformations or migration projects.
