Data Curation Tool Selection & Setup
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
I'm in need of a freelancer with expertise in data analysis and curation to assist me in selecting, installing, and configuring a free or open-source data curation/sanitization tool. This tool will be crucial for managing incoming data feeds from various sources, with a specific focus on identifying and mapping new terms to my existing MariaDB database.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend a suitable, free or open-source data curation and term mapping tool
- Assist with the installation and configuration of this tool
- Integrate the tool with my MariaDB database
- Set up basic functionalities such as detecting new or unmapped terms, manual approval and mapping, and logging activities of reviewers
- Provide a simple, easy-to-use UI for term reviewers
Requirements:
- The tool must be completely free to use (open-source preferred)
- Must support MariaDB integration
- You should guide me through both the tool selection and setup process
Ideal skills and experience include:
- Proficiency in data analysis and curation
- Familiarity with free and open-source data curation tools
- Experience with Mysql/MariaDB integration
- Ability to provide clear guidance throughout the process
- Knowledge of Linux operating system
Please note that there is no specific programming language required for the tool's customization, and the tool will be installed on a Linux operating system.
