Daily RSS/XML Feed Scraping into Excel using either Query and Self Referencing Table or Macro
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
Excel file that pulls new information (manually from a RSS/XML link) and allows me to comment/link against the existing data, then the next day pull new data in and keep the commented data from the previous days entries.
Needs to be built within Excel as dont have the ability to install Python on work machines. Plus want other users to be able to open excel sheet, download daily data, make comments and save.
Ideally Query or Macro to
1) Save comments columns against imported data columns so that rows are linked
2) Run Macro or Refresh Data and import daily new data fields, placing new data at top of sheet and moving all cells down
3) Ensuring previously commented data is aligned to previously imported data
Perhaps understanding of "self-referencing tables".
