DICOM De-identification & Delivery
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
I have three separate batches of DICOM studies that still contain protected health information in their headers. Your task is to run every file through an online de-identification workflow, strip out ALL patient-identifying tags (e.g., PatientName, PatientID, AccessionNumber, Institution, and any burned-in overlays if present), and return each batch as its own folder of clean DICOMs.
Although I have local software, for compliance reasons these particular images must be processed with a web-based anonymizer. I’m open to whichever online tool you trust—so long as it fully satisfies HIPAA-level removal of PHI and preserves image integrity and metadata needed for research.
Deliverables
• Three zipped folders, one per original batch, containing only de-identified DICOM files
• Brief confirmation log for each set noting the tool used and key tags removed
Acceptance will be based on a spot check of random files showing blank or null values in all PHI fields and pixel data unchanged aside from header edits. Quick turnaround is appreciated.
