Conversion Spreadsheet (Combine Training Records)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Combine rows in Excel:
Excel file has approximately 15,000 rows that contain student records for 6,400 students. There are multiple records (rows) for each student. Each row contains a unique student # that is the same for each record/row for that student. (COLM A= "ID") Most students only have 4-5 rows. The rest have from 6 - 54 rows.
Each row has a column that has info that has been merged from four other columns in that row. COLM's M& N show how this was done manually. Column O is the desired result (pasted as values) with one row per student illustrated rows 3, 7, 10, 29, 37.
Note 1: In the sample file, the date sort is not correct. See Note in first row. Should sort by ID and by date newest to oldest.
Note 2: This file will be imported into a CRM for History info in a text field. Format must include the equivilent of line breaks and "wrap" type view
Client was planning on having staff do this manually but wanted to offer them the option to have this done for them.
The attached file is partial and should provide a good spec for you.
Thanks.
