Clean & Analyze Excel Data

I have several Excel spreadsheets containing a mix of text and numerical fields that need to be migrated into a single, tidy file. Before the transfer is complete, the records must be cleaned—duplicates removed, formats standardized, stray characters cleared, and any obvious errors fixed.

Once the data is consistent, I also want a quick sanity-check analysis: simple descriptive statistics (totals, averages, counts) and a few observations that highlight outliers or missing values. I will supply the spreadsheets and a template showing the final column order I expect. Please work in Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets if preferred) and keep a clear changelog so I can trace every modification.

Deliverables:
• Consolidated, cleaned master worksheet
• Brief summary sheet with the basic analysis and notes on any issues found
• Changelog documenting edits, assumptions, and flagged anomalies
