Australian Run Clubs Database

I’m compiling the most comprehensive list of recreational running clubs in Australia and want your help gathering the raw data. The goal is to deliver a spreadsheet with 1,000 + unique clubs, each entry containing club name, regular run days, typical distances, meeting location (suburb / park / venue), and a link to the source.

You’ll need to pull information from both social media and web directories. On the social side stick to Facebook and Instagram; on the directory side focus on RunHub (starting with https://www.runhub.co/directory) and Strava club listings. If you uncover additional sources while working, feel free to include them as long as the data fields remain consistent.

I will use your final sheet to build an interactive map, so accuracy and no duplicates are critical. Please flag any entry you cannot fully verify and keep a separate tab for potential follow-ups.

Deliverables
• One master CSV or Excel file with the required columns (Club Name, Run Days, Typical Distance(s), Location [exact location e.g. street name, suburb etc], Source URL).
• A short note summarising your collection method and any limitations.
