App development for iOS and Android -- 2
Budget: €3,000 – €5,000 EUR
The aim is to develop an App to operate and to control a small electronic device. The communication between the App and the electronic device is exclusively done via Near Field Communication (NFC). The electronic device is equipped with an ST25DV64K dynamic NFC Tag (Type 5 Tag).
The fast transfer mode mailbox (FTM) and the user memory of the ST25DV64K will be used to exchange data and commands, to operate the electronic device. The details of the protocol to update the firmware will be provided. The same protocol or parts of this protocol could be used to operate the device as well, the exact method needs to be agreed between App developer and project sponsor.
The main function of the App is to display measurement data. These measurement data is provided by the electronic device via NFC. This data needs to be presented on the mobile (phone) in a graph. The X and Y axis of the plot are given in the same unit and the plot needs to be true to scale. Landscape format and a zooming function might become essential.
The mobile App should allow at least two languages. First version will be English only.
The mobile App will be available for iOS and Android.
A storyboard of the App and further information will be delivered upon request.
Beneficial for this project is to have NFC skills for both platforms (iOS and Android) and experiences on true to scale plots.
Experiences to read/write NFC Tags might be very helpful as well.
